Petit Anduze vase is a beautiful and unique handcrafted piece of pottery from Anduze in the south of France. This vase was made at Poterie de la Madeleine, a pottery workshop that has been perpetuating their savoir-faire and tradition for over 400 years.
Each piece is handmade by a craftsman which makes each piece unique. Their authenticity can be checked as they are all hand signed "Poterie de la Madeleine" upon their manufacturing.
The town of Anduze has been the capital of pottery since the 17th century. They have since kept their authenticity and are renowned in the whole world for their talent and craftsmanship.
It takes one month on average for a masterpiece to take its final shape. After the craftsmen put their years of experience in crafting the vase by mixing dirt and water, it is left to air dry for 15 days to a month depending upon the model type. It is then gently cooked for 48 hours to give it its final look.
